Good luck !
2 PhD Student positions in Nanostructured Dye Solar Cells
at the Center of Molecular Devices, Department of Chemistry
We conduct fundamental studies on complex systems consisting of molecules connected to semiconductor nanocrystals. The main research topic is solar cells based on dye-sensitized TiO2 (also known as Grätzel cells). We are now seeking 2 Ph.D. students for our research projects that address key issues in physical-chemical characterization of these photoelectrochemical systems, as well as their solid-state equivalents.
There will be opportunities for the student to spend a period abroad at another top research lab (university or industrial partner). Furthermore, the student will have the opportunity to attend international conferences and workshops.
The PhD position will be at KTH Chemistry department, section Physical Chemistry.
Qualification
Qualification for this position is a Master of Science degree in Chemistry, Applied Physics, or equivalent.
Employment
The PhD positions are intended for ambitious students who want to pursue a graduate education leading to a PhD degree. The position will include teaching assistance (at maximum 20%). The salary is based on the existing employment agreement for PhD position.
